What do we expect?

We are looking for a Business Developer and Partnerships Manager with a strong background in the healthcare sector, particularly with experience working with pharmaceutical companies, to join our team. As a Business Developer and Partnerships Manager, you will be instrumental in driving our growth and expansion by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our presence within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. You will work closely with our product, marketing, and sales teams to align partnership strategies with our overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with organisations working for pharmaceutical companies, namely consulting services companies, commercial outsourcing services companies, health information technology companies, media agencies / groups, scientific and medical organisations, scale-ups, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement partnership strategies that align with our product offerings and market objectives.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring they meet our business goals and compliance standards.
  • Manage and nurture existing partnerships, evaluating performance and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop co-branded marketing initiatives and campaigns that drive mutual growth for us and our partners.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on partnership development, challenges, and progress towards business goals.

Who you are

You have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or a similar role within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical landscape in Europe, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and securing partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels. English proficiency.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote or hybrid setting.
  • Willingness to travel as required for meetings, conferences, and events.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with the UK, French, Italian or Spanish markets
